GreenWalls 100cm wide living plant wall / indoor or outdoor self-build SEMI-AUTOMATIC FEED kit

This semi-automatic self build living plant wall kit is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Use a pressure spray bottle (available in our website shop) or a hose pipe to quickly fill the bottom water tank and then let the built in pump and control system do all the work. The built-in 3 colour LED lets you know when the system is full and when it needs refilling. These 100cm wide kits includes the following items:

• 100cm wide semi-auto water tank with hose pipe adapter & water pressure bottle fitting
• 100cm wide Planter trays to your selected height
• Hanging rails
• Wall plugs and screws
• Installation instruction
• Waterproof 12v adapter plug with 5m lead (plugs into a standard 240v socket)
• Waterproof Semi-Auto control box

The GreenWalls semi-automatic self-build kits operate exclusively as plug-in systems. Each kit comes with a waterproof 12v adapter and a standard UK plug, accompanied by a 5-meter cable. Additionally, each plug features a waterproof male-to-female joint, which can be unscrewed if necessary to pass the fitting through a wall. After threading the fitting through the wall, simply reattach the joint, and the system will function flawlessly without needing the plug to be removed. To power the LED refill notification system, just plug it into any UK socket. Once the water tank is filled, the computer-controlled system takes charge, utilizing the built-in pump to correctly nourish your plants by filling the trays above. After filling, the system automatically switches to stand by mode, switching itself on again to checks the trays’ water levels every 24 hours, replenishing the planter trays above as needed. Water can be easily added through the built-in hose pipe connector, significantly reducing the filling time to approximately 1 minute. Once the tank is full, the system will autonomously maintain itself for about 6 weeks (often much longer during winter months).

GreenWalls can be supplied with sidewalls to give a defined edge finish or without sidewalls if you prefer your plants to grow hanging out to the side. If you select ‘with Sidewalls’ in the drop down bar, you will also receive:

• Left sidewalls
• Right sidewalls

Sidewalls simply hook into the hanging rail and locks firmly in place when pushed down.

No need for daily watering, as each individual tray can hold up to 3 liters of water, while the built-in water tank has enough capacity to replenish the system for over 6 weeks.

Plants receive nourishment through a built-in wick system, ensuring each plant receives adequate water supply. With a cascading water flow system, water flows down to each tray sequentially until they are all filled. A built-in smart chip conducts daily checks on the system to ensure your plants receive optimal nourishment.

In the event of power outages, the pre-filled planter tray system can autonomously function for roughly 14 days without requiring the pump to operate. Upon power restoration, the smart chip will automatically replenish the trays. Moreover, if the temperature drops below 3 degrees Celsius, the smart chip will activate standby mode to prevent potential damage from water freezing within the system. Once the temperature rises above 3 degrees Celsius again, the smart chip will resume its standard operating procedure.

All Semi-Automatic kits are available in 4 different standard widths:

• 40cm – suitable for 3 large plants per planter tray
• 60cm – suitable for 5 large plants per planter tray
• 80cm – suitable for 7 large plants per planter tray
• 100cm – suitable for 9 large plant per planter tray

Each tray kit utilizes the same twin hanging rail system – effortlessly position the rails 100cm apart and secure them to your wall using the provided fittings. Then, simply attach the 100cm wide water tank and planter trays, beginning with the semi-automatic water tank and shelf at the system’s base. Our standard off-the-shelf kits are sold in columns, offering 4 different widths (40cm, 60cm, 80cm, & 100cm), and enabling you to construct a wall to your desired height in 20cm increments. LED Water Level Indicator

Every Semi-Automatic kit comes with a 3 colour LED that simply attaches to the front of your bottom tray. See the guide below for colour significance :

• Red – Empty… It is time to fill your system
• Blue – Your system has adequate water to feed the plants
• Green – The water is full… Stop filling

Simply connect your water pressure spray bottle to the fitting located at the top of your system, and as you pump, the water will gradually fill the tank. Alternatively, for significantly faster filling, utilise the built-in hose pipe connector, enabling you to fill the water tank in just 1 minute.

Robust GreenWalls – Built To Last

The Semi-Automatic GreenWalls system is suitable for both indoor and outdoor living walls. Every steel part is either powder coated or Plastisol® coated and is built to withstand even the harshest of weather conditions. Even our water feed tubes are made of tough 3mm thick Polyurethane, these have a working temperature rating between -20 ~ 80 °C and can also withstand high pressure as well as being wear and corrosion resistant. So, no rust, no brittle plastic parts that snap easily and no water leaks to repair –

This is a tough product designed to offer a 25 year lifespan.
