This self build living plant wall kit is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Use the quick fill fitting on the bottom water tank to fill with water using a pressure spray bottle (available in our website shop) or simply attach a hose pipe and fill in seconds. The built-in 3 colour LED lets you know when the system is full and when it needs refilling. Once the water is full the built-in pump system will take over and fill the trays above for you, checking once every 24 hours to make sure your system is always full. SlimWalls quick fill plug-in semi-automatic kits can be purchased without plants, if you choose this option you will have to supply your own soil and plants. We include comprehensive instructions on crafting a well-balanced soil mix and planting your chosen flora effectively. Alternatively, you can select the fully-planted kit option. Here, you have the flexibility to choose between indoor or outdoor plants. After a brief consultation with us regarding the positioning of your wall and your plant preferences, we’ll carefully curate the selection for you. Your SlimWalls kit will then arrive complete with our unique Biochar-rich soil and fully planted, ready for installation. Simply attach the hanging rails to your wall, hook the trays in place, plug it in and marvel as your greenery flourishes.

SlimWalls quick fill plug-in semi-automatic kits arrive equipped with a convenient 12v adapter plug with 4m of cable. Installation is a breeze: attach the provided hanging rails to your desired location, then effortlessly hook on your planted trays and sidewalls, then plug the adapter plug into a standard UK plug socket. You can manually fast fill the water tank using a water pressure spray bottle or simply attach a hose pipe and fill the tank in seconds, the LED refill notification system will turn from Red to Blue and then to Green, signaling when the system is adequately replenished. The built-in smart chip system will then take over, using the built-in pump to fill the planter trays above which are all designed to hold enough water to sustain your plants for up to 3 weeks, maintenance becomes hassle-free and super efficient.

SlimWalls are supplied with sidewalls to give a defined smooth edge finish. Sidewalls simply hook into the hanging rail and locks firmly in place when pushed down.

No need for daily watering as each individual tray holds up to 3 liters of water which is enough to help the plants thrive for around 3 weeks between water top ups.

Fully remove the need for top-ups by adding the new fully- auto-feed water tank unit (available in our shop as ‘SlimWalls Fully Automatic kit’).

The plants are fed using a built-in wick system, that keeps each plant supplied with all the water they require. The cascading water flow system allows you to fill every tank from a single point as the water works its way down to fill every tray in sequence.

Each tray kit utilises an identical twin hanging rail system, requiring you to position the rails 100cm apart and securely affix them to your wall using the provided fittings. Then, effortlessly hook the planter trays in place, beginning with the bottom control unit tray. Our standard off-the-shelf kits are arranged in columns, with each planter tray measuring 20cm in height. Self-build kits are available starting from just £138.80 and are shipped directly from our factory to you. You have the option to either self-plant the system or select a professionally pre-planted kit. LED Water Level Indicator

Every plug-in starter kit comes with a 3 colour LED that simply attaches to the front of your bottom tray. See the guide below for colour significance :

• Red – Empty… It is time to fill your system
• Blue – Your system has adequate water to feed the plants
• Green – The water is full… Stop filling

Simply plug your water pressure spray bottle into the fitting on the water tank at the bottom of your system and, as you pump, the water will quickly fill the water tank and the LED will turn Green, alternatively you can attach a hose pipe to the hose pipe adapter on the front of the water tank and fill the tank in seconds, again the LED light will glow Green when the tank is full. After a few days the light will go Blue to show that the system is not full but has adequate water to continue feeding the plants, after 3 weeks you will notice the LED glowing Red, this is the system telling you that it now requires more water.

Robust SlimWalls – Built To Last

The SlimWalls system is suitable for both indoor and outdoor living walls. Every steel part is either powder coated or Plastisol® coated and is built to withstand even the harshest of weather conditions. Even our water feed tubes are made of tough 3mm thick Polyurethane, these have a working temperature rating between -20 ~ 80 °C and can also withstand high pressure as well as being wear and corrosion resistant. So, no rust, no brittle plastic parts that snap easily and no water leaks to repair –

This is a tough product designed to offer a 25 year lifespan.

Bigger SlimWalls

The plug-in quick fill semi-automatic SlimWalls kits come in a range of heights, designed to cover walls up to a height of 2.8m, depending on the size you’ve purchased your kit will have water tanks designed specifically for your chosen height. The tanks hold enough water to fully fill your upper planter trays. Once the automatic pump system has filled all the planter trays, it is advisable to quickly re-fill the water tank so that you can extend the water feed life of the unit to around 6 weeks (in Summer months). You may also opt for large and extra large water tanks – these will extend the water life for much longer, however they do sacrifice the units slimness at the base of the unit.
